ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

This was something that I had asked about in the dumb questions thread to see if there was an easy fix, but with no responses I'm going to assume it's a bug.

When I started up B38, the action bar (list of abilities at the bottom of the screen) was half obscured by my windows task bar. In an attempt to fix this, I changed the resolution and set it it to windowed mode. Doing this made my action bar (and chat screen) disapear completely, and nothing I do, including changing the resolution back, will make it come back. This includes starting a completely new game with a new character. Basically the entire game is now unplayable.

This isn't just a matter of the borders of the window cutting off the action bar. I can have plenty of empty space at the bottom and it will still just be gone.

Hum weird it should adjust ..

You can fix it by removing the C:/Users/fooo/T-Engine/4.0/settings/tome.uiset_minimalist.cfg file

That worked, thanks. The action bar is back to being half obscured by the window's task bar, but when I have more time I'll see what I can do to fix that.
