ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

As the title says, I can't connect my player profile and the game news has also stopped loading for me. I'm not sure if something happened on my end or the server end, but I deleted b38 and extracted it again and noticed no change and turned off my anti-virus to see if that was the problem but it was not. Before this, I was able to connect my profile and view the game news on the main menu screen. Albeit, without being able to access the donator features.

I donated recently and so I'm waiting for the transaction to be finished so I could access the custom sprites, too. Unless I was supposed to have them already? I do have a donator icon on my account.

Seems the server is down now.....
So there is another problem of this game. when it is unable to connect the server, the game will freeze for about 2 or 3 seconds. And the game will keep trying to connect again and again when proper events happened, picking up gold items or monsters are summoning for instance.
This would cause the game freezing again and again during the game....
