[b37] Black screen on loading savegame

At level 30, my Paradox Mage suddenly started returning a black screen when I try to load the game. Other saves work fine. What's going on?
He was on the world map, if it helps.
EDIT: If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. It would suck to lose this roguelike character to a bug 30 levels in.
