ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

...like getting the intro text to the level again, and having to fight the Weirdling Beast all over again. The Butler has disappeared, and whilst the storage room still technically works, it empties each time I return to the level via the Rod.

All of this has happened in one sitting; I loaded my game when I was at the Sher'Tul Fortress, left to finish off the Sandworm Queen, used the Rod, and found myself fighting the Weirdling Beast again. The Butler cannot be summoned/created as it was before.
I've since used the rod twice again to the same effect, but then used it from the Sher'Tul ruins below the Lake of Nur and it didn't reset the map. I'm not sure what's going on at all.

I have the same issue (version 1.2.5 Steam). It is outrageous for the developer - to know about it from the beta and have not rectified it yet.

To be fair, it's an issue that may not effect a lot of people, and this was posted without a lot of details to make it fixable. If you're still having the problem, you should upload a copy of your save so that DG and co. can take a closer look at what's going on.

Its still not know what causes this to happen and it happens extremely rarely.
So its hardly outrageous that it happened in a later version.
