When the Choker's volcano disappears, if it is on the same tile as an exit in the Temporal Rift, the exit will disappear as well.

Tested on multiple times on Ben Cruthdar, using the bugfix addon.

Can you describe the testing a bit further? The volcano should replace what was previously there before, so reproducing this is very important to understanding the bug.

I saved before Ben's level, then entered and fought Ben while wearing the Fiery Choker. In the process, a volcano would sometimes spawn on Ben's tile. When he dies while the volcano is still there, it is replaced by the exit portal. After a few turns when the volcano would expire, the exit portal disappears.

Ahhh, that is much clearer and I understand the problem now, thanks. I'll have fix in the bugfix addon soon.
