Pitiful damage from Master of the Arena

Uh... this might not be a bug, but it certainly seems like one. The attached pictures speak for themselves...
Also, I had a chuckle when there was an option to have my character say "I will become Master of the Arena instead of Master of the Arena!" or something like that.
