ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Had a summoner that i got to the unknown tunnels and at the bottom, i knew i wanted to kill the rogue king guy. Sooo, i jus went in and attacked from a distance with item ability. Enemies became hostile to me, but there was one that was neutral, and my pets would not attack any of the hostiles. I tried to mele attack and pets remained passive. Being a world map event i could not spawn in a different location and was therefore doomed to lose all of my available lives at this spot in the game.

All of the individual enemies were hostile to you, but their faction was not hostile to your faction. This bug can be avoided by talking to the assassin lord (making him hostile to you, though at melee range), or killing one of the enemies, thus making their faction hostile to the player's faction, and making your summons attack them. As for not being able to recall/Eidolon plane out, I believe that it's a known issue, but don't know of any planned changes.
