Audio Issue; Stereo Sound to Mono Sound?

I've recently installed Beta 34 and once I launch the game I found an issue with the sound of anything I'm listening to, like podcasts, videos, music etc., degrading in quality. It sounds as if it goes from stereo to mono. I've tried adjusting the audio settings in the in-game menu with no result. The only solution I found was to completely quitting the game, and instantly the audio quality improves with anything I'm listening to at the time.
Is this a known issue? Is there a solution to this issue?
