ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

The last time I played a mindslayer (b32), I noticed that my auras were doing a lot less damage when channeled through the conduit skill. Actually, they were barely doing any damage at all except when I used telekinetic smash. This reduction seems a little odd given that the damage formula is:

Adds (100 + 20 * talent)% of your active aura's damage to your telekinetically wielded weapon. Places channeled auras on cooldown until conduit is deactivated.

Is there a bug with conduit damage?

My guess would be you never turned Beyond the flesh on, so you haven't been hitting with your telekinetic weapon the whole time. Conduit only affects your telekinetically wielded weapon, not the one you wield by hand.
