[b34] No visible jumpgate in ascii mode

Hi, I play in "ASCII with background" mode. When my Anorithil places a jumpgate it is not visible in this mode. If I switch to shockbolt I can see it. The jumpgate does work, and a moseover says
As opposed to just
This is in the "Scintilating Caves" zone, I have not tried any other zones yet.
Edit: Same in Rhaloren Camp and Trollmire, jumpgate not showing up. So looks like all map/terrain types
