ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Last time I played this game was beta 7b - before online profiles, I think. The game really looks great.

Anyway, I renamed the base directory (t-engine4-windows-1.0.0beta34) to ToME4 as I usually do and then tried to create an online profile. I must have spent 2-3 hours trying to figure out why my game would completely lock up while trying to create an account (or fail to log in after I created mine on the web site). After playing with my firewalls, anti-virus, etc., I learned that the game doesn't like having its directory renamed.

Odd... I always rename my directories.

Same here, playing from "tome-1.0.0", no problem.

Yeah, I don't know what to say. Renaming the directory completely kills the online portion for me. I just tried again with the directory renamed to "tome-1.0.0" and "t-engine4-windows-1.0.0" and it didn't work. I'm running the game on Windows Vista 64.
