ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

This time it was caused by that crash to desktop with shockbolts tiles, though I didnt expect it to happen.

Got trapped in tannens tower, ascended, utterly destroyed tannen and his dragon golem.

Left, had the farportal created. Entered the farportal. Immediately upon entering the east again game crashed to desktop.

Ok no big deal, just enter it again. HOWEVER the game autosaved when tannen trapped me inside of his tower, BUT it saved before entering the tower. Now im stuck in last hope, no diamand, no athame, and tannen wont answer the door. Quest progress has me as "Tannen revealed his vile nature and trapped you". Really? Why am I free then?!

I cant go back east, again

ok I made some progress on this and I am now getting consistent LUA errors, and am trapped in a dialogue.

I left last hope, came back, tannen was back to talk to me. Gave him the athame and diamond, again, hoping everything would be reset. However, it wasnt ?????

Tannens tower was clear, he was still dead, however my athame and diamond are gone from my inventory.

Left the tower again and the mage from angolwen starts the dialogue, however the dialogue wont continue because I have no diamond or athame to give him and every time I try to continue the dailogue I get lua errors.

The good news is I finally found the source of the crash!
