ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Got level 12 with alchy, generic point was used to up extract gems to dwarven-steel. Used it on phase dwarven-steel dagger of crippling Mr. Assassin Lord dropped, lost the dagger but didn't get a gem. No errors anywhere about that as far as I can see.

I think this is related to the fixed material levels within zones. I had similar issues when playing with item spawning code in Trollmire.
