ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Additional info: this was the second char played in this session, using the "restart the same character" option after the first one died.

The second one died to an Assassin Lord. I'm not sure how many there were. I had damaged one of them and teleported away, and damaged it again, and teleported away, and then somehow I was facing an Assassin Lord MUCH too soon after the second teleport, and I think it was healthier than it should have been... maybe there were two of them.

"Quigley the level 9 halfling rogue was slimed to death by a Assassin Lord on level 1 of Unknown tunnels."

I encountered the Assassin Lord on level one, killed him, he dropped items and a staircase.

I proceeded downstairs, and after scouting a little bit, started the encounter.

There were TWO Assassin Lords in the encounter!

I managed to kill them both with kiting and they both dropped a stack of items and a staircase each.

This character is a Rogue, died two times, and is probably my second character that session (though I can't remember) and sorry I don't have a screen-shot either.

I'd like to add that this is B33 music version on win7 x64.

Another Lord on level one on a new run, and just look at what he dropped!

Of course, it all makes sense now! The Assassin Lord is a Paradox Mage!

I just killed the Assassin lord twice with the same character. Once on level 1, and once on level 2.
