ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hi,

OS Vista 32 4 GIGS ram
desktop Acer AM1100-e1420A
Graphics Adapter ATI Radeon X1250 [L206W]

Firstly, Beta 32 and 33 work perfectly on my Gateway NV79 Laptop with WIN 7

Now to the problem.
Beta 31 and previous have all worked perfectly on my desktop until I rebuilt my OS from scratch using ACER's DVD to do so. I installed Beta 32 and 33 after the rebuild (and what seems like 24 hours of VISTA updates) and the problems began.

I start the client; the first image comes up in a much too large format for my monitor (i have tried this in both 1440 x 900 and 1680 x 1050)

If I enlarge or reduce the image size (I can not see the top of the image), I get the RESOLUTION CHANGED window (the whole image is now at a reasonable size) - I accept the new resolution and immediately the curser automagically jumps to LOAD GAME and the cycle starts again in the super large format - I can not get into the game as the screen continues to cycle
