ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Here's the deal. If you die on the same turn that you kill the last chrono twin (say, to an anomaly spawned temporal storm), the quest becomes badly broken. Trying to get out of the normal rift pop-up dialog while in the E.Plane causes a lua error and the dialogue to pop back up -- reloading the game bypasses the dialogue (leaving you in the E.Plane), but on returning to the rift, there is no exit portal. Naturally, the recall rod also doesn't work, meaning the only way out of the now-broken game is to debug teleport. You also get no rift rune from the quest completion.

Just want to add a weird thing that may or may not be related. In the Melinda quest, if you kill the last acolyte when the turn counter reads 0, the 'Melinda died' box pops up, although you can still rescue her normally. It's been a while since I've done that, so it may have been fixed by now.
