[b31] Radiant Horror vs sandwall

I was fighting a (practically invulnerable) Archmage/Paradox Mage Radiant Horror in a sand themed maze farportal, and it was crushed by falling sand that I set up. It only took about 1000 damage (1/7 of its HP) the first turn, than none after that. Shouldn't it take that much damage every turn it stands within a sand wall?

Sandwalls only do damage on the initial collapse. After that it's just suffocation. As to it not taking full damage if it had a shield going the shield could have absorbed some of the initial impact.

Ah, it was taking full damage (half of 6000 * 70% resist physical = about 1000), but I assumed that it was every turn, I guess that's only when you chase a sandworm tunnel too slow though.
