ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Was leaving Shatur with my Doomed. When I exited the zone, the game began to save, then immediately sent me back into Shatur, then back out, and so on. Between the loading and the multiple save attempts the game ground to a halt. Force-quitting the game worked, I haven't been able to reproduce the bug. Running on OSX.

Also, been getting a lot of slowdown in towns/when using shops. Could be related.
