New comparison tooltip only looks at the first ring (b28)

Using <control> to compare a ring to the currently equipped rings only shows a comparison with the ring in the first slot.
On this subject, I actually preferred the old interface when quickly looking through equipment. Would it be possible to show the old tooltip and then new enhanced tool tip via the <control> key at the same time?
