[b28] no boss in Old Forest level 5 with Bandit Fortress

I've just cleared out lvl 5 of Old Forest with a huge Bandit Fortress, which takes up most of the map. The usual boss (the one who freezes etc) is nowhere to be found. Does this mess up the game storyline? I assume it's a bug. It's a lost chance to level up too.

Na the game can continue just fine, anything before dreadfel is optional.
However I'd like you to send me your savefile while on that level please, normally there is code to prevent that from happening.
(You didnt get a "surge of power" and a suddent exp rise on the level? this happens if the boss dies any other way than being killed by you)

(while saved on that level)
send it to darkgod, the internet sign, the name of tome website
