[b28] No boss in far portal

Entered my first far portal at level 20. The first level was normal, the second was extremely small (6 spaces total) and the final level only slightly larger (10 spaces total). There was no boss on the final level, and subsequently no portal back. Had and used Burning Star, so it's not just a case of needing to dig something out of the way or something like that.
