ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I was having some issues running TOME and decided to check if there was a update. To my surprise there was beta 28. So I updated my files and now for some reason I can't load my save game from beta 27 (it doesn't even show up in the load screen). Its not a big deal as it was only a level 15, but still it'll take a while to get back to that point. Anywho, my question is was the update supposed to break saves? I didn't see a mention of that.

Otherwise the new update is AWESOME! Love the level up screen and the compare option is sweet!

Save games don't usually carry over between betas. You'll have to run beta 27 to access your b27 character.

Ah okay. Just curious. I already started a new guy.
