Hmm, let me know if this is silly -

I had saves for b25 - went to b26, lost them. They where only low levels.
No biggie - folks told me it happens sometimes.

I started in on B26 - and Had some nice higher level chars (well, higher level to me)
Loaded up 27 tonight and it doesn't show me any of my old saves now :'(

Very sad, lost my first wyrmic warden. And an archmage I was sortof having fun with.

Normally, save files from a previous version do not work with the new one.

Yeah, I'm still playing b26 until I'm finished with my rogue.

Just to be clear, if you didn't create a new character with the same name your saves are not lost, they are just not visible in b27. You can keep b26 in a second directory and see the b26 saves when playing that version of ToME4.
