ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Once is just the RNG hating me, but twice... twice is a bug.

For the second time, I met a super-high-level elven cultist in the Inquisitor's section of the Rhaloren Camp. This particular cultist is level 25 (and I am level 9). I ran. Yay for Lightning Speed being fixed in svn. I met him in the chamber just east of the Inquisitor's chamber. My Lightning Speed got me around the corner, out of his line of sight in the northeast chamber, and from there I ran straight to the stairs.

The previous time, the elven cultist that I met (in beta 24) was level 27. I don't recall what level I was, but I died. He was actually in the Inquisitor's south-central chamber, so I faced the two of them at the same moment.

I just saw TWO high-level cultists, on the same character. One in the far SW room, one in the far SE room. I was level 9 at the time, they were (IIRC) in the 20s.

I saw many in vaults... then one not in vaults after others had mentioned it. (In the Inquisitor area)

Then again.. I just did it and no ood elves. *shrugs*

On a related note, just lost Reek, the Yeek Mindslayer, to a Ritch larva on level 2 of the Yeek ritch starting area.. I was only level 2, it was level 25. Hadn't opened a vault, no "eek you gonna die!" messages on entry. He had a few dozen helpers around my level, and was able to kill most of them through judicious use of Kinetic Aura spikes (and infusions, and resting at eidolon til cooldowns went away. Very aggravating to have to deal with something that ridiculously OOD.
