Projectile max range calculated at wrong time

Something I noticed with a Temporal Warden using an elm bow of Great Speed:
The maximum range of projectiles (or at least arrows) seems to be calculated based on where your character currently is, rather than where they were when they fired the bow. For instance, an elm bow of Great Speed has a max range of 6, and if you fire it while aiming at a square beyond max range, it will still be in transit when you get your next turn. If you then take a step in the direction of the arrow, it will go one square further than it should have, stopping 7 squares from where you fired it (in one of the squares which would be highlighted in red during targeting).
