Amulet that "destroys lots of stuff" crashed my game [b21]

I program, so I'm fully aware that I'm playing a beta right now. I'm just so used to TOME being solid and never actually crashing, so this one took me by surprise.

I was in Ardhunqol, just killed the boss, and walked one level back up to see if there were any respawns to help level. I was surrounded by lots of bad things. I used the amulet that "destroys lots of stuff, including walls" and BAM crash to desktop. Not the simple LUA crash, this was like a memory overrun crash, perhaps too much damage and destruction recursion ;)

I don't remember the amulet's name (I had to take a long walk to cool down after the game crashed ;) ) but it's the amulet that has a charge of 300, the spell it uses costs 300, and it destroys walls along with monsters.

Don't worry, the game saved a few levels above. Lost a bit of time, but nothing too dramatic. The main reason I don't remember the name of the amulet is my last save happened before I got it. Coincidence? Maybe not :)

[EDIT: Funny, my save game was right before I picked up the amulet, and I just found it again. The name of the amulet is Spellblaze Echoes.]

Darkgod,

Forgive me, usually I'm better at writing up bug reports. I'm not sure if it's helpful, but a few specifics I forgot to add:

I'm running Mac OS X (10.6.6).
I have 8Gb of memory, so I don't think raw memory is the issue.

I have used the Spellblaze Echoes quite a bit to good effect. In this one particular instance, perhaps the situation is appropriate:

* I had just changed levels.
* When I said I was surrounded, I was completely surrounded. I didn't take a screenshot, and I don't remember exactly how many, but if the Spellblaze echoes has a radius of 3, I believe the entire area created within the circle was full of either a monster or a wall.

In addition, I've had many Lua AI script errors on this build on the Mac, much more than b20. Perhaps the Spellblaze Echoes was just a catalyst and, because it hit so many monsters at once AND destroyed a section of wall, that I set forth a catastrophic number of Lua AI script errors?
