[b21] No Vim tree reward from the Fall of Zigur

I completed the quest and gained the achievement "Anti-Antimagic", but I've had no response from the game beyond that. I searched around the town for clues, but there was nothing. The Grand Corrupter just stands around like, "Talk to the bone shield". I was left to walk, slowly, out of Zigur by myself, in an embarrassed silence.

After I left Zigur I visited the Grand Corrupter in the lava gardens where he likes to stroll in the evenings, but he still won't acknowledge the service that I did him. In fact, I can't even aggro him.

The fight's STDOUT output only really consists of thousands of lines of AI junk, and it is just going to take me a little while to sort through this before I can post the relevant data.

Also, the exact same thing happened to me on my b18 Shadowblade. I did the fight, but afterwards I never found out that the reward even existed.

I did this quest-line and it worked fine for me. It awards the hex tree now, and I got it ok.

Ah. I'm playing a Reaver- would this result in nothing (at all) happening?

More likely than not, yes. Check and see if your hex mastery changed, at the very least.

I did gain the Hexes tree, after all!

Now, though, seeing as I'm given this major reward without so much as a prompt from the game, it seems to me that the player experience around this encounter might need a lot of work. I might have adventured on for several dungeons' worth of play before I discovered anything extraordinary!

(Also, I'd be pretty miffed if I had chosen the Hexes tree of my own volition, with one of the two category points I'd previously earnt. What would that give me, 0.20 points of mastery? Useless. That would be pretty miffing indeed.)

Another thing is that the dialog needs some variation for a character who's already taken up the path of corrupted magic. Since this is an open game, of course, I'll be happy to post my contributions to the Ideas section.

Now to mess around with my newly-gained Hexing powers. When the category's given out for free like this they're a lot more tempting!
