not sure if this was intentional or not, but seems like 'p' enemies only drop gold.
IMHO if it was intentional I have to say I would often prioritize thieves den and maze runs with my shadowblade or rogue PC for the loot drops, it was the best way to get a decent weapon...

[edit] ok in the maze now i'm getting some drops, but not many - and have yet to see a dagger or leather armor drop.

Drop rates were intentionally reduced to generate a use for gold - meaning you will be most likely buying most of your kit now instead of finding it. Also, along with that change [to the best of my knowlege [aka reading the changelog]] all shops have been upgraded to carry better equipment sooner.

This seems a bad fix to me with the pure motivation to be making a use for gold. I'd rather get rid of shops entirely than have to rely on them utterly. Loot should come from adventuring, not shopping.

I totally mapped out 3 + 1/2 levels of the maze, wiped out > 100 rogues, cutpurses etc., and did not find a single dagger throughout the maze. The paring back of drops seems to have gone a bit too far.

Keying in to say I'd really like it if rogues could, at least, drop their plain stuff. It's hell trying to find a plain voratun dagger now, and I could stand to find one to hit with focus
