Death in temporal rift while stunned didn't allow extra life

I was killed by a large group of telugoroths while stunned in the temporal rift. I was on Normal difficulty and had one life left, but they apparently killed me twice before I moved to the resurrection plane? I don't know if this is because of the temporal rift, because I was originally stunned, or just because they got lucky and killed me twice in quick succession. I *saw* the Eidolon plane, but the dialog which popped up didn't give me the option of restarting, and the log says that I died twice. Stdout:

This old bug..can apparently still happen, because I had something similar in unkown tunnels.
