ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Ritch used to spawn a lot. Now they spawn a heck of a lot:



These were mobbing the L50 paladin NPC when I got to him. This isn't abnormal for b19, apparently, since I fought off more than that in one go earlier. Having this many spawn seems buggy to me, but maybe it's intentional.

Nothing changed on the summon side.
It's just that the hivemothers now have a ranged tactical AI so they'll do whatever they can to stay out of your reach and thus are more free to summon
