ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

You can step into one of the gates in the arena level and fight enemies one by one with ease. The gate coming down does no damage. I don't know if it would normally cause players to suffocate standing there, but I'm playing a skeleton and enjoying it fine :) Either the gate should do massive damage coming down (could be an inventive way to kill enemies) or the square should be inaccessible even whilst open.

I had noticed some foes ending up in that square, and after I killed them I was unable to grab their stuff(as the square was now unpassable..)yeah, should probably be fixed. i

If you don't want suffocation, by the way, simply knockback anyone standing on that square to the south when the gate comes down.

Knockback won't work if something is in the tile you need to be moved into. I like Grey's idea of massive damage. Maybe like a sandtunnel collapse.

So massive damage, heavy bleeding and pinned to the ground?
