ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I'm assuming it's the unlock quest...

Anyway, I got to the part with the bizarre version of the lumberjack village, but the boss is missing. His gloom aura is there, but he isn't. I blame time paradox.

Might have something to do with the fact that I attempted the normal lumberjack quest, ran away, and then completely forgot about it... and Ben can't be in 2 places at once... or something. Well, probably not.

same bug happened to me, the logs say actor moved without starting position.

That's normal, but he should appear.
I'm able to reproduce it though..
If I come close to the center of the gloom he can attack me and sometimes he will blindside to me and then appear, tried that ?

I've walked through it several times, and the only thing that actually damaged me was the gloom.
