The "Mighty Girdle" artifact (world-artifacts.lua) has belt_slots=10 and some accompanying code, and thus adds a new inventory slot that nothing can go into. I think that this is vestigial from potions and scrolls?

Don't wands go in those slots? And wands are still in the game, yes?
