Works fine here. Note that it's technically a beam and that beams end where you target. If you want to hit more then one creature you need to aim at the last creature you want to hit.

I don't know, I just double checked it and fired through a troll (didn't die) and killed the wolf behind it.
Are you getting any errors in the log?

Does the projectile path go through any trees or walls?

Note - It's not a magical beam and as such it CAN miss - in fact in can miss the first 3 targets and hit the 4th/5th miss the 6th and hit the 7th. Also, it cannot path through solid objects like trees/walls.

I forgot to mention - if an npc moves [like a snake who will double move - meaning move from position a to position b then back to position a during 1 turn] while the projectile would be pathing through position a - the projectile didn't 'miss' as there wasn't a target to 'hit' so no miss message will be generated.
