If so please try using gdb: http://te4.org/wiki/tome4-running-tome-gdb

A note if you aren't used to it: on a PC, if it 'freezes' you get a display of something that happened at an earlier time inside the box (possibly a piece of your desktop, possibly a ToME display from a while earlier).
