The opengl errors are from the OS :)

Was there by any chance any freeze/ice damage going on in the last rounds ?

Most likely.
This is not the first game crashes. 2 times the game was covered in a battle with Rantha the Worm (which uses freezing/cold) and 2 times in battles with multiple enemies (which also had "ice" monsters).

This just happened to me as well. Or something very similar. I have an "Icy Axe" which does freeze targets. A "Honey Tree" had been frozen a few rounds before and I noticed the graphic had gone "weird" looking. Rather than normal semi translucent ice cube it was just a white tile. A few rounds later... *poof*! Log is attached, but it sounds like you already know the issue. Extra data never hurts.

This is from Beta16 running on windows XP.

More info: I was in the 3rd or 4th level of the TrollMires. When I restarted and loaded the Save game, I was on the World Map at Derth. When I reentered the TrollMires he Maps memory had been cleared. My inventory also had none of what I had picked up there. Odd, since I think it Saves at every Level Change.
