ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Some artifacts have clearly bugged prices. For now, two obvious examples are:
- Kor's Fall: 5 gold (same as a plain elm staff)
- Choker of Dead: 5000 gold (and it isn't even that great...)

IIRC Bill's Tree Trunk is 5 gold too (half the price of any plain two-handed weapon!)

I really don't think they are bugged PW - remember, the staff and trunk used to be 100% drops for the first two dungeons - if they weren't useful you sold them. DG didn't want the player to start out with a bunch of cash early game so the prices are marked low.

The same with the amulet of dread - It was meant to be a super reward - if you were to use it, good, if not, you could sell it for a huge cash-in. However, with the now [I personally think stupid/redundant] shop cap prices, their costs are much more predominant against the player.
