ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I'm playing a ghoul geomancer and he's currently critting for around 2k with stalagmite and 3.4k with strike. At level 13. Is this I dunno, a bit off? (I am playing on discovery but didn't think it would change that much)

Are you wearing gear that boosts crit damage? Because none of your talents should be modifying crits.
