Stun duration overwrites

Still delusional from playing that archmage chap, I went through the same hotkey combo, thus applying dual strike more or less directly after dirty fighting. The shorter stun duration from dual strike applied.

Yes stuns overrides, you'd prefer that they stack ? ;>

Or instead of over riding maybe they should take the duration with the longest effect?

In other words, if a monster has a 4 turn stun counter already active a 2 turn stun should do nothing to the counter but a 6 turn stun should over write.

I have no easy way to test this (and I have no idea how stun works, or the whole game, for that matter), but if the stuns override, what happens if you stun a stunned enemy and this last stun misses, will the enemy be released from the (old) stun or a missed stun does nothing for any status already active? I suppose the latter, but you never know.

I personally like stun overriding, gives the stunner something to be aware of, instead of just blasting stuns at a target mindlessly.

That's exactly what i expected it to be, before the accident :)

when I managed to get water jet on a mage, its stun seemed to stack with freeze, though.
