gem stacks disappear when using them to imbue via the MJ

so I finally got 2 diamonds and a plain mithril ring, and went back to the master jeweler...
when I chose my diamonds as the first gem, the entire stack disappeared from the choices for the second gem, making me have to choose a lesser gem instead.
I did not loose all the diamonds, I was just unable to choose the other one to craft with as well.

ow. That's precisely what i would have wanted crafted once i find myself a plain mythril ring..

You can not use two of the same gems on a ring

The line "Bring me a non-magical ring and two gems..." in jewelry-store.lua should be changed to "...two different gems...".
