Is there an option to disable the horrid slowdown? Or better, can it be fixed?

If it's something that could be done in the interim, could there be a command at vendors to sell all objects with (for example) a check mark or something? When I'm trying to sell 40 steel daggers right now it's a little painful.

That check mark idea is great. I'd love that even if we do get the interface back up to full speed.

I agree. I remember in T2 being able to sell full inventories of stuff in rapid .03 (or some stupid fast speed) succession. Now it's almost a full second per item. Having a check mark to sell all items of a given type would be rather cool.

Check marks would also be nice when dropping items.

Is it just my creaky old computer + AGP graphics card, or can a 3GHz processor not cope with opening for example the inventory window (it takes between 5 and 20 seconds for this)? Or have you reinvented a Commodore 64 emulator with genuine 1541 speed for loading?

Not sure, but I think the problem may not be graphics related, judging from CPU churning I've seen.

Selling and buying items is painful, it is actually impossible to do such thing.
