ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I was escorting someone. There were 2 jellies. If I tried to shoot the first jelly, the person I was escorting would be in the way. If I tried to shoot the second jelly, the first one would be in the way, but my escorted person would not.

I shot at the second jelly and killed my escort. Pretty sure s/he (forgot the name) didn't move into the arrow either since s/he was in melee range of the first one and would have attacked instead of moving.
