Paths of the dead: stair room with no exits

Was playing through the Paths of the Dead, was finally having some luck until I ascended a staircase and got this.
Only way to get out of here would be to teleport/phase, which is probably..not intentional. For now, I'll have to scum for a scroll of phase door/teleport.
