Beware of the Big Bad Wolf!!!

There's a little story I wanted to share...
My last character was wandering on the last level of Carn Dum, looking for Mr Rantha. I finally spotted him on the top left of the level... right next to a room that looked like a monster pit/vault. A close examination revealed all sorts of Cs and Xs... and a purple C in the center. Mr C, the Warg Lord something... tagged in orange as a boss. Well I decide to leave him alone for now and get rid of the big fat purple dragon instead. Didn't take me much time...
Ok now I cast Detect again. The room next to the now deceased Rantha still features a lot of Cs and Xs... and a big hole in the middle. Did Mr C see me and went invisible like other bosses of my knowledge? Well a few Inferno spells took down everything in the room... but no Warg Lord of any kind (I double-checked the message log to be sure. Did I have hallucinations? Did killing Mr D remove Mr C from the level too? To be sure, I decide to explore the level a little... and to my big surprise, I find da boss in a room in the bottom right of the level! What a coward!!!
After killing that chicken, he didn't even drop anything. I guess he just wanted to save his life after all... Sorry puppy wuss, you failed...
