See title. Killed The Master with a controlled Hydra. No quest report, no achievement, no item drops.....
He dropped an important staff of something or other, right? I don't see it anywhere...

Finally killed the master and now this... THIS GAME DOESN'T LIKE ME!

Did you get an error log ?

*Shrug* I don't know. After I killed the master, I saved and exited (was on fullscreen mode) to go post on the forums, then went back in-game to find the staff, which would erase the stdout...

I don't know how to access the stdout on a mac anyway.

I just tried to kill the Master with a controlled summon and it worked :<

You killed him onces or twice ? He is supposed to self-ressurect once when killed. Maybe he did and then blinked away ?

Nah, I'm pretty sure he died twice.

Maybe he did blink away. I thought I saw the kill message the second time... but maybe I'm just seeing things. I know I killed him once at least.
I guess I'll search around... sometime tomorrow.

This has bugged me, too. If you figure this out, please let me know!

1. Run Terminal.
2. If you installed T-Engine in Applications, then type (if it's somewhere else then adjust accordingly. e.g. I have my T-Engine in /Applications/Games)
3. Type T-Engine will start and stdout will appear in the terminal window.
4. If you want to save the log, you can redirect it, e.g. will create a file 'tome-stdout.txt' in your home directory.

Just figured this out today (it was obvious in retrospect :-/ ). I've just added this to the FAQ.

Zaive, if you dont find him send me the savefile I can probably fix it so that you can continue and this could help me figure out what happened.

I know this is around the site somewhere... but I can't find it. Where are the save files kept on a mac, and how do I send it to you? I'm clueless.

On OSX it's in your home/Library/T-Engine/4.0/tome/save/

..... I don't see a t-engine folder in my library. uh? Does the T-engine folder have a period in front of it, maybe? that would make it hidden...

I just had a thought though: Maybe it broke because he died from poison damage? The hydra did 4x poison damage a turn with its breath, so maybe that killed it and... something.

*Sigh* one problem after another... I found the files, but the entire folder seems to exceed what Gmail allows to be sent.
Which files are more important? I'm guessing most of the .teaz files can be left out. I don't see one for Tol Falas - is that because I'm still in there?

Can you try to upload it on megaupload or other such services ?
If not yeah remove the teaz, the ones like the sandworm lair and such are of no concern I suppose
