Items dropped by monsters inside of walls end up embedded

If you kill a Xaren and it drops money, the money isn't accessible unless you have the dig spell. Not a big deal, but if something that could walk through walls dropped an artifact or something, it might be a bigger concern.

I have had items dropped in walls and not been able to get at them!

I've seen this one too, mostly with thieves' in the rogue's den.
