Minor amulet issue.

Found a copper amulet of 0.19 Technique/ Combat Technique.
I thought 'sweet I've got tons of those!' Turns out it only works for one of those skills (the shield ones in this case.) Being able to tell which techniques it'd improve from the name would be ever so nice.

This is a general issue of the talent categories having names that look very much alike, or in this case are identical. There are at least two different categories that both have the name "Technique / Combat techniques" (two is how many my slinger has; a fighter might have even more, who knows). The names need to be different.

Would it be better to make amulets like that apply to 1 specific skill and grant it a bonus point instead of a mastery increase to a whole school? Both could exist, but it'd hide this issue until groups were named properly.

well it's alraedy rare enough to find an amulet of mastery you can use, imagine if they were talent specific

you could always add to the end of them:
(passive) or (active) (combat-technique) or change it to active combat/passive combat
(offense) or (defense) (weapon and shield) or change it to shield offense/shield defense
(offense) or (cripple) (2hweapon) not really sure how to change this one really.
I think that is all the doubling up of talent categories, but I may be mistaken.
