ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

This is in regard to the Worm That Walks minion granted by Writhing One's Friend of the Worm category. The minion gains stats and talent points as it levels up, but it gets fewer points per level than the player so it doesn't seem possible to fully invest in all of the categories. I haven't gotten to high level with Writhing One yet, so I'm not sure how many points are available at endgame. What talents do you guys focus on while leveling your minion?

as to stats: STR and MAG.

as to talents: scourge, reaving combat and combat training trees.

Or you could pump his CON and MAG and focus on his Rot and Reaving combat trees to turn it into a damage sponge, depending on your playstyle. Give it enough STR to equip heavy armor stuff and look for resistance gear - it makes a VERY decent tank.
