ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I know magic users are locked out of antimagic, but I was wondering if there are any edge cases, events, or rare interactions that allow magic classes to permanently gain wild-type or psionic talents (outside of racials or Harmony from the heart).
For example, can a Shadowblade ever get Skate, or an Archmage ever access Resonance Field through any interaction?
I’m not trying to criticize the system — just want to be sure I’m not missing any obscure mechanics.
