Hi,
Basically the title.
If I as a bulwark block an attack and get an opportunity to counterstrike, am I wasting this opportunity by shield bashing the enemy instead of using a regular attack to target it, or will the damage from my shield bash be improved too?
Are other skills affected? And if they are, with skills that strike multiple times, are each strike considered different for the purpose of consuming counterstrike stacks?

Shield hits are a kind of weapon hit, so they do get improved with counterstrike. Counterstrikes are consumed with individual hits rather than individual talents, so multi hits will consume more stacks in one turn.
